Books, stories, and a little bit of mischief

Children’s Publishing

Making picture books that kids actually want to read again.

Through Mad Dreidel Press, I develop stories that are funny, a little chaotic, and rooted in real kid experiences — not lectures disguised as stories.

Big feelings, weird situations, and just enough meaning to stick.

School Storytelling

I come into classrooms and turn stories into something kids can jump into.

These aren’t quiet readings — they’re interactive, a little unpredictable, and built around getting students thinking, laughing, and participating.

We build stories together, break them apart, and figure out why they work.

Adult Writing Projects

I also write for adults — stories that lean more into messier questions about identity, relationships, and the choices we make.

My novel Something So Sweet explores what happens when people don’t quite become who they thought they would.

Same storyteller. Different stakes.

Creative Writing Workshops

Want kids to stop staring at a blank page?

These workshops focus on giving students tools they can actually use — how to start, how to build, and how to keep going when ideas stall.

Less “write a story.” More “here’s how stories actually work.”
